Aktuelle Erfahrungen 128 kw Automatik?

Hallo an alle, die auch keine Lust zum Schalten haben,

unser Anfang März bestellter MV mit 128 kw und Automatik soll nach letzter Meldung des Reimporteurs bis zur 25. Woche ganz bestimmt gebaut sein - dann könnte er es über Italien ja vielleicht bis Juli / August zur Abholbereitschaft geschafft haben.

Inzwischen bin ich neugierig auf frische Erfahrungen von Leuten, die diese Variante schon fahren (Ihr - hoffentlich - Glücklichen) und freue mich auf viele Rückpost.

I too am waiting for my 128 Automatic Kombi in the UK.

The last information was 'week 26' and my dealer tells me the vehicle is at 'checkpoint 5' but can't tell me how long to 'checkpoint 8' and delivery.

Does anyone know what the 'checkpoint' is?

Die letzten Informationen waren 'week 26' und mein Händler erklärt mir, daß der Träger an 'checkpoint 5' ist; aber can't erklären mir, wie lang zu 'checkpoint 8' und Anlieferung.

Tut jedermann wissen, was das 'checkpoint' ist?

Hi - there are two slightly differing versions of the checkpoints out there, but they are similar enough:

version 1

#1 issue of vehicle ID #
#2 start production
#3 body production
#4 preparation for painting
#5 painting
#6 assembly
#7 completely assembled, not yet released
#8 final quality control

version 2

#1 start of production
#2 ???
#3 body production complete
#4 painting complete
#5 begin assembly
#6 ???
#7 assembly complete, final quality control
#8 release of vehicle to sales deptartment

Mine was sitting for 3-1/2 weeks on #5 (I was told it was painting, but the dealer didn't know if this means 'yet to be painted' or 'painting complete') - then it was done and at my dealer's within a week.
