Hi there!
(sorry for the English, I apologize for my German not being good enough to express myself in writing)
I am sorry to say, but the RNS2 seems to be lagging behind all the time, and I would like to know whether this is a common (unsolvable) problem, or whether it is a matter of calibrating the unit.
Example: While driving on a road, the navigation shows all intersections as being about 50 meters ahead of the car even though I already passed the intersection!
This is *very* annoying, since it reders the whole idea of navigation quite useless. I visited the local VW repair shop, but they were unable to help me since they had absolutely zero (0) knowledge about the RNS2. All they could offer was a test-drive of a Tuareg equipped with RNS2, and that one lagged behind even more
It seems that the navigation only "catches up" when I reach an intersection and stand still for a couple of seconds.
Do any of you gentlemen have any information / knowledge regarding this? I would highly appreciate any input (I can understand German writing quite well ) possible!
Thanks in advance,
//Tamas
