Help is appreciated!

I have recently bought a Highline 170hp 4-motion (a nice car :)) . Now to the questions:

I'm trying to install a Pioneer double din AVIC-HD1BT in the car and have entered some problems.

1) What kind of antenna adapter should I use?
Without diversity, for example
http://www.acvgmbh.de/shop/product_info.php?cPath=38_70_287&products_id=554
or with diversity, for example
http://www.acvgmbh.de/shop/product_info.php?cPath=38_70_287&products_id=1799
Or any other solution?

2) I have raised problem with the CAN-bus adapter. I have tried both the CA-R-PI.221 version 2 and version 3. The head unit recognizes the lumination, but not the reverse gear or the speed pulse. Any hints, or someone who recognizes the problem?
Link to the CAN-bus adapter: http://www.service.pioneer-eur.com/...32F0562C1256FA40032C737/$File/CA-R-PI.221.pdf

3) The loudspekers wiring seems to be mixed-up. Back is Front and Left is Right. This is not a big deal since I always can rewire the cables, but it is indeed strange. Any hints?

4) The car has a remote steering wheel (no handy). The Volume/station-button on hte steering wheel is not recognized by the Pioneer head-unit.

The car is originally equiped with the Radio Delta with extra amplifier. No CD-changer or handy.

Thanks in advance! (Answers in German is OK)

AW: Installing Pioneer AVIC-HD1BT

Hi Peter,

Welcome!

It is somewhat difficult to help, a lot of questions regarding the Pioneer headunit. I do not think that so many in here know about that type of headunit or about the adapters you try to use.

I would recommend to use the search function, however, i at least try to anwser some of your questions:

1. Iam not sure here, i do not know if the Delta does come with two remote powered antenna's. Maybe one other could anwser this question.

2. All the signals can be found in the car. You do not need any kind of CAN adapter. The rear signal can be found under the drivers seat. Illumination is available at the buttons (PDC, ESP). Speed signal at the cockpit.

3. --

4. The information from the steering wheel is available on the CAN-Bus. You need a special adapter for that. Other solution is to pick it from the LIN Bus.

Hope i could at least help a lillte bit.

best regards
Peter
