2009 caravelle 130auto....ecu remap?

Hi,

Just joined your forum, just taken delivery of a new caravelle 130auto...Its very very nice but as i have never driven another transporter or caravelle or any t5 i have little to compare it to and would like some advice if poss?

would you guys recommend a remap or superchip? is there any negative things i should be aware of when considering having this done and wheres the best place in south west england to get a remap?

Also the ride seems to be very harsh and you can feel alot of bumps in the road, this could be the runflat tyres or do most t5's have such stiff suspension?

Ive always liked these vans like i suppose everyone does, but never really understood what all the fuss was about being a massive bmw addict, but after going away for the weekend in it last week, i love it, I can see why there are so many clubs magazines etc
they truly are brilliant cars i cant believe i waited this long

Hi new caravellist,
the e30 beamer isn't that bad...you must have had reasons for the change.
Anyway I would never recommend any remap or chipping. Use it as a cruiser on your beautiful roads or buy a more powerful motor next time. Via the search button you will find many impressions under "tuning".
Suspension is certainly different to your bmw experience. But I can't believe you have runflat tires...
If you fill in your profile, it might be easier to give specific answers.
